The BILAT-USA 2.0 project is pleased to invite you to the event “Towards enhanced EU-U.S. innovation collaboration through policy measures - Pre-conference policy workshop”, held on 14 January 2015 morning in Brussels.
This event is especially intended to policy-makers and cooperation facilitators interested in discussing the latest development of the EU-U.S. cooperation in the fields of Research Technology Development and Innovation (RTDI).

The goal of the policy workshop will be:
- to provide feedback from businesses and business support structures to policy makers and notably to highlight barriers, challenges and good practices experienced by businesses involved in transatlantic collaboration,
- to exchange on recommendations on policy measures in order to overcome barriers and enhance EU-U.S. RTDI business collaboration.
Feedback from businesses and business support structures to policy-makers gathered at a previous workshop on “Accelerating EU-U.S. business collaboration in health/e-health Research & Innovation: Opportunities, Barriers and Best Practices” held on 20 June 2014 in Boston, USA, have been summarized in a policy brief that will be discussed during the workshop.

This workshop is organized prior to the EU-U.S. Innovation Conference “How to integrate the innovation dimension in the EU-U.S. S&T Agreement” taking place on 14 January (afternoon) and 15 January 2015 at the same venue. The conference aims at identifying among European and U.S. experts those innovation aspects which need to be considered during the current renewal process of the EU-U.S. S&T Agreement.
The conference is free of charge, but registration is mandatory.
Please note that registration is now closed!
You will nonetheless be welcome to attend the policy workshop without registration within the limits of the seats available.
