The BIO International Convention (BIO), organised by the Biotechnology Industry Organization, represents more than 1,100 biotechnology companies, academic institutions, state biotechnology centres and related organizations across the United States and in more than 30 other nations. BIO members are involved in the research and development of innovative healthcare, agricultural, industrial and environmental biotechnology products.
The event will take place in San Diego, California on 23-26 June 2014.
The European Commission (DG RTD Health Directorate and DG ENTR) will be present at this year's BIO with the following sessions:
